Description
This plan shows the three doors into the interior as well as the recessed niches for the bookcases, common in Roman library architecture. The apse in the middle of the far wall probably held a statue of Celsus, since his tomb is directly below. The side corridors between the walls are also visible, one of which leads down to Celsus' tomb.
