Support for this project was provided by a PSC-CUNY Award, jointly funded by The Professional Staff Congress and The City University of New York. I would like to thank them for the small grant that allowed me to create this web site. The Professional Staff Congress is the union of the faculty and professional staff of the City University of New York. The research grant (Traditional A) was administered by the CUNY Graduate School and University Center’s Research Foundation.

I would also like to thank Aristotle Koskinas, Archaeologist and Tourist Guide, in Greece for all his help while I was in Athens studying the ancient ruins in the agora. Without his expert knowledge I would not have been able to understand what I was looking at. Aristotle can be reached through his web site (http://aristotleguide.wordpress.com).

This project was an experiment with Omeka, which I had little experience with when I started. A classics graduate student who had abandoned the free Omeka for the paid, told me that I had done more with the free site than he ever did, and he liked it.

For more about me, please see my blog, The Researching Librarian (https://researchinglibrarian.wordpress.com/).
