Description
Two photographs.
In the first, the entrance to the Library of Hadrian complex. New, quarried, white marble replaces ancient pieces that are missing.
In the second, a side view of the entrance. The Fethiye Mosque (Mosque of the Conqueror) is in the background. The mosque is scheduled to be restored and opened for cultural events. It was supposedly built by Mehmet II after he had conquered Athens in 1456.
