Description
The remains of the roadway between the Library of Pantainos (right) and the Stoa of Attalos (left). This roadway led to the Roman agora. Between the wall on the right and the wall holding up Pikilis Street in the upper left, a series of poles reinforce the retaining wall. The pediment marking the entrance to the Roman agora is just visible through them.
