Description
Eleven photographs.
The first three photographs are of a typical unfluted column used on the first floor of the library, as well as its capital and detail. The next two photographs are of a pilaster with its capital, also from the first floor. This type of pilaster can also be found on the third floor.
The sixth and seventh photographs are from the third floor where columns and pilasters decorate walls; the photograph of the capitals is a bit out of focus, but the detail can be discerned.
The photographs eight through ten are of wooden columns used as doorway decorations. As shown, there are nicely decorated capitals, and the bases are elevated on marble pedistools.
The eleventh photograph is from the staircase leading to the third floor. This is a view of the second floor information desk and how it is surrounded with decorative columns and arches.
