Description
Ten photographs.
The first photograph is of the reading room. The room is named in memory of Florence S. Kane, the director of the library, 1986-2000.
The next three photographs are of the fireplace area.
Two photographs are of the two nooks in the room for books. The area near the lobby entrance holds the local history materials while the one at the far end of the room holds the travel guides.
The next photograph is of the longcase (grandfather) clock next to the fireplace.
Two photographs are of the detail running around the edge of the reading room ceiling.
One photograph is of one of the big library windows in the room, which is also one of those on the facade of the building. Next to it, one of the bookcases for the music collection.
