The columns on the portico are Ionic. Since Ionic capitals are an inverted scroll, this seems appropriate for a library. There are different types of marble used in the unfluted Corinthian columns in the interior of the library. Most of these columns are of different types of marble. The columns holding up the dome are also Corinthian, although fluted.
